Nylon fabrics are a class of material made from non-organic, synthetic fibers. Markets around the world rely on nylon fiber fabrics because they offer more elasticity and durability than other fabrics. Also called polyamide fabrics, nylon is physically strong enough for use in bulletproof vests and is also water-resistant for swimwear. At HLC Industries, we produce Titan X™ and Titan XL™ nylon fabrics for specialty applications as part of our diverse line of commercial and industrial textile products.

Titan X™ is two layers of 500 denier solution-dyed CORDURA^© nylon fabrics bonded together. Each layer is made of 100% high-tenacity 6,6 air-textured multifilament yarn. Compared to fabrics with similar strength ratings, Titan X™ weighs less and is specially engineered to be laser-cut. Featuring a plain weave and locked-in colors with lot-to-lot consistency, this nylon fabric is ideal for commercial or tactical applications. In addition, Titan X™ has infrared reflective (IRR) capabilities that make wearers less visible to night vision and IR devices.	Titan XL™ nylon is our extra-strength polyamide laminate fabric, built for heavy-duty commercial and military applications. It is made from 500 denier solution-dyed CORDURA^© nylon laminated to 1000 denier solution-dyed CORDURA^© nylon. Each fabric is constructed from a 100% high-tenacity nylon 6,6 air-textured multifilament yarn. As a result, Titan XL™ is durable, tear-resistant, and engineered for laser cutting. All colors are locked in for lot-to-lot consistency, and it features a plain weave. Like Titan X™, Titan XL™ has inherent infrared reflective properties.
